Luka Rocco Magnotta murdered the student in Montreal May 25 with an ice pick-axe and cruelly dismembered the corpse. He filmed his act and put the video on internet, Xinhua reported. Magnotta was arrested in an internet cafe in the working class district of Neukoelln. Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Chinese student Jun Lin, who they said had dated Magnotta and had a sexual relationship with him.

The video posted online shows a man stabbing another man with an ice pick-axe while the victim lies naked and tied up. The first man later reveals he has slashed the other man's throat and goes on to dismember the corpse and perform sexual acts with it. Interpol had notified authorities in 190 countries to be on the lookout for Magnotta, the Daily Mail reported.
