Operating alongside the Qingyun Ladder, the elevator &mdash; combined with shuttle buses and a cable car &mdash; connects the canyon floor to Guanzhai Village Primary School.
The system slashes a treacherous, three-hour mountain hike into a seamless transit for local students. Around 20 children from relied on the steep trails and mountain routes to reach classes.
