US President Donald Trump, while posting on the social media platform Truth Social on Monday, made an announcement that a news conference will be organised at the White House in Washington DC on August 12, 2025. The news conference, as per Donald Trump’s post on Truth Social, will be focusing on unveiling a sweeping new plan that will be aimed at making the nation’s capital “safer and more beautiful than it ever was before.”
The US President, while writing on Truth Social, said that, “We’re having a news conference tomorrow in the White House. I’m going to make our capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before.”
He further informed us that the conference will be focusing on homelessness and crime, which is indeed creating a chaotic situation in the United States. Highlighting that this still remains a major issue for Washington DC, he wrote, “The homeless have to move out IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the capital. The Criminals, you don’t have to move out. We’re going to put you in jail where you belong. It’s all going to happen very fast, just like the Border.”
While concerned about the increasing crime in the region, the US president also highlighted how his administration will act on such criminals and also on homeless people. He asserted that the homeless people will be moved far away from the capital, near the border region, with the government offering them alternative accommodation.
Putting light on the criminals and his zero-tolerance policy towards them, Donald Trump emphasised that no criminals in the country or in the capital will be spared. He highlighted that the criminals will not be relocated; instead, they will be put behind bars where they actually belong. This message from the US President clearly indicates that no mercy will be shown towards the law offenders.
Suggesting that no mercy will be shown towards the offenders, the US President concluded his social media post by saying, “This will be easier—be prepared! There will be no “MR. NICE GUY. ” We want our capital BACK. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The post on relocating homeless people near the border region and acting strictly towards the criminals by the US President comes after the ongoing debates over urban safety, which has been a major concern in the capital and other parts of the US.
