US President Donald Trump on Friday said he hopes the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war could become the next major global conflict resolved during his presidency, claiming that he has already helped settle nine wars since returning to the White House.
Speaking to reporters before departing for a dinner event at his golf course in Sterling, Virginia, Trump said he would “love to” see the Russia-Ukraine conflict come to an end and suggested that diplomatic efforts were moving in a positive direction.
