China delivers world’s largest car carrier ship

China has delivered the world’s largest car carrier, the Glovis Leader, capable of carrying up to 10,800 vehicles at once. Measuring 754 feet in length, the vessel is designed as a high-efficiency floating parking structure and has been handed over to South Korea

China has just delivered the world’s largest car carrier, a colossal vessel capable of transporting up to 10,800 vehicles in a single voyage, to South Korea. Named Glovis Leader, the ship stands at 754 feet long and 131 feet wide, and is reportedly made to function as a “high-efficiency “floating parking structure”.
