The few supporters cheering him on were outnumbered by dozens of journalists. "I saw a man content, happy, at ease with himself," said Faraba Fofana of Paris, who was standing inches away as Strauss-Kahn passed by. Chased by paparazzi on motorcycles for the 19-mile drive in the rain, the couple headed to their chic brick townhouse on picturesque Place des Vosges. u00a0 The beaming couple posed and waved in their courtyard before going inside the 2-storey multi-million-dollar mansion. A spokeswoman emerged to say Strauss-Kahn would make no comment. The local press heralded Strauss-Kahn's homecoming. Several prominent French officials spoke out in support of him.u00a0 "I am a happy neighbour," said former French Culture Minister Jack Lang, who lives down the block. "Finally, they are freed from this humiliating and unjust situation. They proved to have an amazing strength."
