A senior Iranian security official dismissed US President Donald Trump’s recent claims about potential diplomatic talks, stating that Tehran will not negotiate until specific Iranian conditions are met.
In a post on Truth Social on Monday, Trump asserted that Iran was eager to secure a deal “quickly and badly.” He added that Washington would decide whether or not to engage with Tehran, though he noted the US remained open to the concept.
