Iran has submitted a nuclear proposal to the US via Qatar, but a senior Iranian official stated it will only be discussed after Washington fulfils Tehran’s seven demands.
The official confirmed the US is currently reviewing the offer. Mediators are accelerating efforts to resolve the conflict between the two nations amid concerns that hostilities could escalate following the US midterm elections, particularly after Donald Trump refused to rule out resuming combat operations.
