Asserting that a “new chapter” is being drawn in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s Supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei said on Thursday that a new legal framework and management system will bring progress and comfort to all nations in the region, reported IANS.

In a message issued on the occasion of the National Day of the Persian Gulf, Khamenei highlighted the “sacrifices” made by Iran for the region’s independence and its efforts in confronting foreign powers, calling the Islamic Revolution a “turning point” in this resistance, reported IANS.
