Israeli troops take control of Beaufort Castle along Lebanon border

Israeli troops have taken control of the historic Beaufort Castle and the surrounding strategic ridge in southern Lebanon, according to the military. Israeli troops have seized the 900-year-old Beaufort Castle and its strategic ridge in southern Lebanon, the military said on Sunday.
It comes after one of the heaviest days of Hezbollah fire toward northern Israel since the April ceasefire, prompting school closures and restrictions.
