JCB unveils hydrogen-powered car aiming to break speed record

JCB will be heading to to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, US, with the fastest hydrogen-powered car ever built. The British engineering company unveiled Hydromax — a 32-foot streamliner designed to push beyond 563 kmph using hydrogen combustion instead of diesel or batteries. JCB spent five years and £100 million (Rs 1821 crore) developing hydrogen internal combustion systems.
