<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sunday-mid-day/article/not-just-childs-play-23484265" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">LEGO</a> has revealed the Sagrada Familia &mdash; a 12,060-piece replica of Barcelona&rsquo;s basilica &mdash; marking the largest set in the toymaker&rsquo;s history.
The USD 800 set arrives as Barcelona celebrates the 100th anniversary of Catalan architect Antoni Gaud&iacute;&rsquo;s death, with construction of the basilica having begun in 1882.&nbsp;
The 24-inch-tall model also features a stained-glass effect mimicking light movement. Available for pre-order, the set launches globally on November 1, requiring 25-35 hours to build.&nbsp;
The LEGO Icons Eiffel Tower contains 10,001 pieces, while Minas Tirith contains 8278 pieces, making Sagrada Familia the largest set to date.
