Kuala lumpur: Malaysia has lauded Indian Navy's search efforts to locate the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that mysteriously disappeared over a year ago, saying it demonstrated close maritime ties between the two countries.

The Indian forces have been continuously in touch with the Malaysian Navy since the plane disappeared mid-air on March 8, 2014, and they fully rendered all possible help towards search and rescue operations, Royal Malaysian Navy assistant chief of staff operations and exercises, Rear-Admiral Mior Rosdi Mior Jaafar said at Port Klang near here.
