A plant-eating dinosaur fossil unearthed in an English clay quarry 25 years ago has been officially identified as a brand-new genus and species, Paludohadros proudlovii. Living roughly 125 million years ago in a wetland environment, the juvenile specimen measured about five meters long.

Recent re-examinations of older museum collections suggest additional fossils of this rhinoceros-sized herbivore were stored away decades ago, highlighting how overlooked specimens continue to reveal new prehistoric species.
