Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf announced that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until Iran’s conditions are met and US commitments are fulfilled. He stated that Tehran will combine military force to counter enemies with diplomacy to consolidate gains when the time is right.

Concurrently, Iran’s central military command reported intelligence that the US and regional allies are preparing to resume actions against Iran. The military warned that any US attack would trigger sustained strikes on American bases and interests, and participating regional nations would be treated as parties to the conflict.
