PM Modi holds delegation-level meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation-level talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Rome during the final leg of his five-nation tour. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties across trade, investment, defence, clean energy and innovation under the India-Italy Joint Strategic Action Plan 2025-2029

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (local time) held delegation-level talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella. During the bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and other senior diplomatic officials.
Earlier on Tuesday (local time), Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni over dinner shortly after arriving in Rome, on the last leg of his five-nation visit.
