Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared Iran will stand firm against the US and Israel after US President Donald Trump rejected a proposed seven-day ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian military officials signalled readiness for renewed escalation. Army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia stated the armed forces are fully prepared for confrontation, warning the US would suffer greater damage if it attacks again.
