Researchers are working on a clear nail polish designed to make long fingernails touchscreen-friendly.

The team identified two ingredients: forms of taurine and ethanolamine which helps deliver electrical properties needed and worked well with the polish. 


When combined, the two produced a formula that allowed a smartphone to detect a fingernail touch.
