Researchers have developed a new drug approach that prevented mice from becoming obese even after prolonged exposure to a high-fat, sugar-rich diet. The study focused on blocking the MRS2 gene linked to magnesium movement inside mitochondria, helping cells burn fat and sugar more efficiently
