Russia strikes Ukraine energy facility in Odesa, thousands left without power

A primary oil processing unit was hit at the refinery, causing a fire

Russia attacked an energy facility of Ukraine’s DTEK power company in the southern city of Odesa overnight, leaving tens of thousands of families without power, the company said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military struck a Lukoil-owned oil refinery in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, Ukrainian officials said on Wednesday. A primary oil processing unit was hit at the refinery, causing a fire.
