Stop telecom services in Rohingya camps: Bangladeshi officials to opera

The order was issued in public safety interest following a series of violent crimes reported in the camps

Bangladesh's telecommunications authority ordered all mobile phone operators to stop telecommunication services and sale of sim cards to almost one million Rohingya refugees living in Cox's Bazar camps, ANI reported on Wednesday. The order has been issued in the interest of public safety after a series of violent crimes was reported in the camps in the past few weeks.
