The special eye drops contain pilocarpine and diclofenac.
Researchers say effects of the drops last for up to two years. REPRESENTATION PIC/ISTOCK
A study has revealed that a single drop of a special eye medication can correct vision without the need for glasses or surgery.
The research team from the Buenos Aires Presbyopia Research Centre in Argentina presented these findings at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark, earlier this month.
The special eye drops contain pilocarpine and diclofenac. Pilocarpine constricts the pupil and reduces muscles that control shape of the lens, allowing the lens to focus better, while diclofenac prevents inflammation, pain, and bleeding.
