Barcelona has been named the pickpocket capital of the world in a survey by travel website TripAdvisor.com.

Rome came second, followed by Prague, Madrid, Paris, Florence, Buenos Aires, Amsterdam, Athens and Hanoi in Vietnam.

It based its list on the opinions of travel editors and the comments of people using the website.
