A United Arab Emirates court has sentenced a Bangladeshi woman and an Emirati man to a month in jail followed by deportation for having an illicit relationship Bangladeshi woman allegedly left her four-year-old daughter alone at home to spend time with her lover. The Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced a couple to one month in jail for having an illicit relationship and putting the four year old''''s life in danger, the Gulf News quoted a judicial official, as saying. The official said the Bangladeshi woman is married to an Emirati man. "The little daughter was standing on the window and crying loudly around 1 am. Neighbours heard the voice of the child and rushed out to see what happened to the child," the official said. The neighbours tried to open the door but all their attempts failed so they called police. The police patrol reached the house and secured the child. Meanwhile, the mother also arrived with another man in a car belonging to a contracting company in the emirate, the official added. The police arrested both the mother and the man who came with her in the car. They were taken to the police station where it was revealed during the investigation that the man was working as a driver in a contracting company and had an illicit relationship with the woman.
