British Prime Minister Andy Burnham briefly exchanged messages with an imposter posing as White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles before growing suspicious and cutting off contact, Politico reported.

Officials characterised the small number of messages exchanged after Burnham took office as being of “no significance.”
