Michigan: A record-breaking 1,201 couples renewed their wedding vows at a ceremony on the campus of Western Michigan University in the US over the weekend, securing a Guinness World Record.

The mass-ceremony broke the previous mark of 1,087 couples renewing their vows in Ohio in 2009. The group included couples from the US, Canada and Japan.
