Authorities said rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts remain underway, with thousands of personnel and international responders continuing to assist affected communities.

The latest official update also showed that the number of injured remains at 16,740, while more than 120,000 people have received humanitarian assistance since the disaster. The government has established temporary shelters for families displaced by the earthquakes and is planning longer-term housing measures for those who have lost their homes.
