Russian women have never been less interested in boob jobs. Girl, in this economy? Forget it. Breast implant imports have been disrupted by the war in Russia, raising costs in a time of economic hardship.

The women there have responded with a novel strategy to make ends meet in the war-fuelled recession — they are selling second-hand breast implants online, often for three to four times below the original cost. For example, Mentor implants that were originally priced at 1,40,000 rubles (Rs 1.75 lakh) are now going for 35,000 rubles (Rs 43,794).
