US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the ceasefire with Iran was "over", but indicated that negotiations could still continue despite renewed hostilities triggered by Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, news agency AFP reported.
The vital shipping route has once again emerged as a major flashpoint in the conflict, which began in late February with large-scale US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
