Some danced, others wrote tributes and watched images of MJ beamed on a big screen. Social networking sites and Michael Jackson fan sites had encouraged people to come to the arena yesterday to remember the singer. The This Is It concerts would have marked the singer's first full tour since his 1996/97 HIStory jaunt. AEG Live, the promoter behind the gigs, is currently considering honouring Jackson with a tribute concert at the venue. The company's president Randy Phillips has said he is eager for the world to see Jackson's stage set, which he said would have been "one of the most amazing arena shows ever".
