In a significant step towards strengthening security and accelerating development in Maoist-sensitive areas, the Gadchiroli Police on Thursday established a new police station at Tumarkothi under the Hedri sub-division. The new police station was set up within 24 hours with the deployment of a large security force comprising around 1,000 C-60 commandos, 21 Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams, newly recruited police personnel, 500 special police officers and private contractors (PICS/GADCHIROLI POLICE)

In a continued effort to empower students from remote and Naxal-affected regions, the Gadchiroli Police, under the initiative ‘Project Udaan’, organised the 8th free competitive exam practice test on September 1 at the Shaheed Pandu Alam Auditorium in the Gadchiroli Police headquarters on Wednesday.
