The Israeli military says it has killed three Hamas Nukhba operatives in separate airstrikes across Gaza. Among those killed was Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, whom the IDF accuses of participating in the October 7, 2023, kidnapping of Israeli civilians from Kibbutz Nir Oz. The military also alleges that Baraka helped hold Israeli soldier Nimrod Cohen hostage in southern Gaza. Two other operatives, Omar Awadallah and Moataz Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Nimr, were killed in a separate strike in northern Gaza. The IDF identified Awadallah as a Nukhba platoon commander.

Yemen's Houthi rebels claim to have targeted Saudi Arabia's Defence Ministry in Riyadh and the Ras Tanura oil refinery, raising fresh concerns over regional security and energy infrastructure. Saudi authorities say two ballistic missiles launched towards the capital were intercepted and destroyed. A fire was also reported near the Ras Tanura area, but the extent of damage remains unclear. A direct hit on the Defence Ministry or refinery has not been independently confirmed. Meanwhile, an Israeli media report claims Saudi Arabia offered the Houthis $1 billion in a bid to secure a ceasefire and halt attacks on critical infrastructure.
