Amid the ongoing war of words between Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha and the Owaisi brother, Madhavi Latha rained fire at AIMIM chief, Asaduddin Owaisi and AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and alleged that they are spreading poison among the common. Berating her opponent, BJP leader also alleged that Asaduddin Owaisi is leading his community towards destruction. “Asaduddin Owaisi is leading his community towards destruction. PM Narendra Modi has brought about so many schemes, and tell me which scheme has Hindu-Muslim written on it?... People like Akbaruddin Owaisi and Asaduddin Owaisi are poisoning people's minds. When they along with Congress say they will give everything to the Muslims, where will 120 crore Hindus go?,” said Madhavi Latha.

A major fire broke out at the Ghazipur landfill site in Delhi on April 21. The fire continued to blaze for 2nd day on April 22 despite massive operations by firefighters. As per Delhi Fire Service, the fire was caused by gas produced in the landfill. Smoke from the blazing landfill has created a blanket of haze in the surrounding area causing trouble for locals. The nearby locals blamed the Delhi Government for negligence. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to methane gas. The fire started by itself or was started by someone. HM Amit Shah pounced on Mallikarjun Kharge’s slip of tongue and slammed him for his mistake. On April 06, Kharge was addressing a public rally in Jaipur when he mistakenly said that PM Modi claims credit for abolishing Article 371. Home Minister Amit Shah was quick to react over Kharge’s mistake and termed it a “horrendous mistake”. Responding to Shah’s tweet, Congress’ Jairam Ramesh clarified Kharge’s words. Reuters has reported that at least 40 people were killed and more than 100 were injured when as many as 5 gunmen dressed in camouflage clothing opened fire at people at a concert hall in Moscow on March 22. Armed attackers with automatic weapons targeted Moscow’s Crocus City Hall music venue. Flames leaped into the sky and plumes of black smoke rose above the venue after the deadly attack. It was not immediately clear who the gunmen were. The shooting began days after President Vladimir Putin was re-elected and as Russia is prosecuting a war with Ukraine. NSC coordinator for strategic communication of United States of America, John Kirby has expressed concern over the Moscow shooting incident.

Denouncing the recently enacted Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) once again, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi went all guns blazing against BJP on March 16 in Hyderabad, Telangana. During a press conference, he alleged that the BJP government wants to make the poor and Muslims stateless. "Our case (challenging CAA) is already in the Supreme Court but at that time govt of India said that the rules are yet not framed. But now as the govt has issued the notifications and has framed the rules for CAA, going to the Supreme Court is a must. If the govt starts giving citizenship based on an unconstitutional law, it can be harmful... This govt is saying that if your religion is Islam, we won't provide you the citizenship, for this we have moved to the Supreme Court. The law was passed in 2019 by the ruling party, but they keep it as it is, when they saw that there would be an announcement for elections in a week, they came up with rules in the night by keeping in mind, the elections. The BJP-led govt wants to make the poor and Muslims stateless.

A massive explosion took place at Rameshwaram Cafe in Brookfield in East Bengaluru on 1st of March. The Bengaluru police and fire brigade rushed to the popular cafe after receiving a call about the explosion. The blast occurred during the lunch time between 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Reportedly, 4 people have been injured in the blast. Shattered glass and furniture were seen strewn on the floor of the cafe, which is a big draw among residents. The area was secured by Police and Fire Brigade teams and the injured were hospitalised. Police have begun an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the blast.
