After Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced a state-wide curfew to combat the spread of COVID-19, people across Mumbai were seen thronging the vegetable markets, general stores and medical shops in order to stock up on supply. While the police officials maintained law and order, the BMC raised awareness by making public announcements. From witnessing the fourth death due to coronavirus to youngsters aiding police with snacks and food, Mumbai saw it all. By the end of the day, Mumbai painted a chaotic picture as PM Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lock-down of 21 days with thousands of Mumbaikars in a state of frenzy.
