Landslide
A powerful flash flood has struck Chamoli in Uttarakhand, sweeping away a Bailey bridge over the Tamak Nala and disrupting a strategically important route towards the Niti Valley. A Border Roads Organisation vehicle and its driver have been reported missing after the sudden surge of water hit the area. The incident occurred along the Jyotirmath–Malari/Niti route, which connects remote villages and areas close to the India-China border. NDRF and SDRF teams, along with police and district administration officials, have reached the affected area and launched a search and rescue operation.

Typhoon Dolphin has made landfall near Yuhuan in eastern China's Zhejiang province, bringing powerful winds and torrential rain across the region. With winds reaching around 151 kmph, the storm has triggered mass evacuations, flood and landslide alerts and major transport disruptions. More than one million people have been evacuated, while Wenzhou relocated over 900,000 residents and opened more than 1,000 emergency shelters. Shanghai also cancelled around 1,500 flights, while ferry services and port operations were disrupted across affected areas
