The Asia Cup 2025 'Super Four' stage is set to witness the second high-voltage clash between arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, in the ongoing tournament.

As the hype for the clash keeps mounting, former Team India pacer Venkatesh Prasad also expressed his opinions on the match.

The former pacer has backed Suryakumar Yadav to secure a win against the "Green Shirts" in today's encounter.

Speaking about the clash, Prasad said, "There is no need to talk about India and Pakistan now because there is a lot of difference between the two teams. India is always on top. India will definitely win".

Earlier, in the tournament, the "Men in Blue" had secured a dominating victory over Pakistan by seven wickets at the Dubai International Stadium. The upcoming clash will be worth watching, considering the 'no-handshake' row and pull-out calls from the tournament.

Following the 'no handshake' decision of Team India, the Pakistan Cricket Board had also accused match referee Andy Pycroft of violating the ICC rules. The board also wrote emails to the International Cricket Council (ICC), demanding the removal of Pycroft from the tournament.

However, their demands were rejected by the ICC. According to the reports, Pycroft is set to officiate today's encounter between India and Pakistan.

On the other hand, speaking about the clash, Team India skipper Suryakumar Yadav is confident about his side's preparations. "I feel our preparations have been excellent, leading into the tournament and we had 3 good games also, so we are actually focusing on what we can do best and as I said on the toss as well that we want to follow all the good habits, which we have been doing in the last 2-3 games and we will take one game at a time, but yeah, as you said, it doesn't give us an edge, that we have played them once and we had a good game, so of course it will be a good game, we will have to start well from scratch and whoever plays well will win the game," said Suryakumar.
