Sydney: Australia bowler Ben Hilfenhaus has announced his retirement from first-class cricket.

The 32-year-old, who has confirmed he will continue to play Twenty20, claimed health reasons were behind the decision, announced at a press conference yesterday.

The right-arm paceman played 104 first-class matches. He took 99 wickets in 27 Tests, making his debut in 2009 against South Africa.
