Pune-based Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Kedar Jadhav is far from satisfied with his IPL-10 performance.
Jadhav, a regular in the India limited overs team, is playing in his eighth IPL season and has 241 runs in 10 games.
"I could have done lot more. I was not able to win more games which I should for my team. For the first time in the IPL I got a long run to bat at No. 4 and it helped me score more runs. Earlier, I hardly used to get 15 to 20 balls to play," said Jadhav told mid-day yesterday.
Otherwise a good runner between wickets, Jadhav has been run out thrice in this edition of the IPL. "You can call it a judgment issue, but we all are learning and that is what I will try to do. There are three games left and I will try my best to contribute in a winning cause," said the 32-year-old wicket-keeper batsman.
Jadhav is confident of a good showing in forthcoming Champions Trophy scheduled to played in England next month.
While batting at No. 4 for Team India in the one-day international series against England early this year, Jadhav scored 232 which included 120 off 76 balls in Pune before he earned the man-of-the-series award.
"Having won the man-of-the-series award against England in the last series, my confidence is right up there. "The Indian team is playing very well in all three formats and I don't think we have to do anything different. We have a strong chance to defend our Champions Trophy title in England," said Jadhav.
