Nitish Rana, who used to represent the Rajasthan Royals (RR), has been traded to the Delhi Capitals (DC). The left-handed batsman also led Kolkata Knight Riders (KRR) in 2023, when Shreyas Iyer had sustained an injury.

Arjun Tendulkar, who used to represent the Mumbai Indians (MI), has been traded to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He began his IPL career with the Mumbai-based franchise in 2021 and made his debut in 2023.

All-rounder Donovan Ferreira is set to rejoin the Rajasthan Royals after his trade from the Delhi Capitals (DC). England's all-rounder Sam Curran will also represent RR as he was traded from Chennai. Curran has played 64 IPL matches so far, and ahead of IPL 2026, Rajasthan is set to become his third franchise, having previously played for Punjab Kings (PBKS) and CSK.
