IPL spot-fixing: BCCI gives additional time to Chandila to submit reply

New Delhi: The BCCI disciplinary committee has given former Rajasthan Royals off-spinner Ajit Chandila time till March 12 to submit his written reply after the Board's Anti-Corruption Unit chief Ravi Sawani has found him guilty of spot-fixing during last year's IPL.

Chandila appeared before the BCCI disciplinary committee, comprising president N Srinivasan, Rajeev Shukla and Shivlal Yadav here today and placed his defence on the charges levelled against him. Chandila further requested the disciplinary committee for additional time to submit his written reply.
