Thanks to the BCCI's so-called wisdom of hosting the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals on neutral venues, both teams here lacked crowd support. However, Karnataka enjoyed the backing of their die-hard fan, Suhas Naidu. After Karnataka called the shots on the first day, Naidu booked his return bus ticket for the fourth day (yesterday) when Karnataka hit the final nail in Mumbai's coffin.
