Off-spinner Tanush Kotian continued his impressive run of form, claiming another five-wicket haul (7-45) to put Mumbai in command against Railways in their Elite Group D Ranji Trophy match at the Cricket Club of India’s Brabourne Stadium on Wednesday. Kotian had claimed 11 wickets in Mumbai’s 10-wicket win over Haryana at the MCA-BKC ground last week. On Wednesday, he produced a strong performance as Railways were bowled out for 259, giving Mumbai a 137-run first-innings lead.
The hosts then reached 174-4 at stumps, extending their overall lead to 311 runs. Openers Angkrish Raghuvanshi (79, 10x4, 1x6) and Divyaansh Saxena (68 not out, 6x4) made valuable contributions.
