Medium-pacer Dharmesh Patel’s (7-14 and 3-14) 10-wicket match haul helped Sunrise Sports Club beat Worli Cricket Club by virtue of a first-innings lead in a Division ‘G’ game of the Dr HD Kanga Cricket League at Cross Maidan on Sunday.

Patel’s fiery spell of 7.2-3-14-7 helped Sunrise SC bundled out Worli CC for just 17 in the first innings. Former Mumbai pacer Moondeep Mangela (3-3) also aptly supported Patel. Then, in reply to Sunrise’s 101 all out, Worli CC posted 101-9 in the second essay of the drawn encounter with Patel taking 3-14 and left-arm spinner Ahmed Khan 2-30.
