In the third T20I match against West Indies, Pakistan came victorious by 13 runs at the Central Broward Regional Park. With this, the 'Green Shirts' clinched the three-match series by 2-1.
Batting first in the match, opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan played a knock of 74 runs off 53 deliveries, including three boundaries and five maximums. Fellow opener, Saim Ayub, smashed 66 runs in 49 balls, with the help of four boundaries and two maximums.
Hassan Nawaz slammed two maximums during his knock. Facing seven balls, he scored 15 runs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris was able to score just two runs in two balls.
On the other hand, Khushdil Shah and Faheem Ashraf stayed unbeaten. Facing six balls, Khushdil scored 11 runs, including a maximum, whereas Ashraf accumulated 10 runs in three balls, with the help of a maximum.
With this, Pakistan posted a total of 189 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs.
For the West Indies, Jason Holder, Roston Chase, and Shamar Joseph claimed one wicket each. Akeal Hosein, Gudakesh Motie, and Romario Shepherd went wicketless in the third T20I match against Pakistan.
Chasing a target of 190 runs, the Caribbean opening batsman Jewel Andrew scored 24 runs in 15 balls, including three boundaries. Fellow opener, Alick Athanaze, smashed 60 runs off 40 deliveries, which was laced with eight boundaries and a maximum.
Skipper Shai Hope was not able to register a big score. In nine balls, he only accumulated seven runs. Later, Sherfane Rutherford played a knock of 51 runs in 35 balls. During his knock, the left-handed batsman smashed four boundaries and three maximums.
Roston Chase retired out after scoring 15 runs in 12 balls. But he smashed two boundaries before leaving the field.
Holder departed on a two-ball duck. Shepherd and Motie stayed unbeaten on the scores of four and 10 runs, respectively.
Hasan Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Haris Rauf, Saim Ayub, and Sufiyan Muqeem registered one wicket each to their names. Faheem Ashraf bowled two overs and went wicketless in the match.
