"We inspected the security arrangements here and also met the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) officials. The security arrangements are at place and we will take a final call after the final inspection March 30," said Joint Commissioner of Police Jawed Shamim.

Police also inspected the venue operation centre (VOC) which during the last edition had collapsed injuring two people after a thunder storm hit the stadium during Kolkata Knight Rider's (KKR) match against the now defunct Deccan Chargers.
