Former Indian cricket board secretary Jaywant Lele reckons N Srinivasan's predecessor, Shashank Manohar has the best credentials to take over as president if Srinivasan is asked to step down by members of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his team Chennai Super Kings' alleged connection to the spot fixing scandal. But the Nagpur-based Mr Clean won't take it up.
“Manohar is one of the best (to head the BCCI for the time being), but he won’t agree. He is not interested in cricket (administration) any more. He told me this. He has enjoyed the highest post in the BCCI. Before that, he was president of Vidarbha Cricket Association for several years.
