Former Sri Lanka captain and explosive batsman Sanath Jayasuriya said it’s “hard work for the bowlers” as 250s in T20Is and 400s in ODIs are being chased successfully these days.
Speaking on the sidelines of the jersey launch event of Mumbai Royals and Maharashtra Super Strikers for the second edition of Indian Softball Cricket League here on Friday, the 57-year-old said: “It’s good to see it is happening. Players putting runs on the board and runs being chased successfully are good for cricket. Players are getting more confidence. That is the key. I can see the bowlers are under pressure.”
