Former Team India cricketer Suresh Raina congratulated MS Dhoni after the two-time World Cup winner was on Monday inducted into the ICC's Hall of Fame for the year 2025 along with six others. Dhoni, who retired in August 2020, became the 11th India skipper to achieve the feat.

"The Legend Enters the Hall! @mahi7781 incredible career & contributions to cricket have earned him a well-deserved spot in the Hall of Fame. From electrifying finishes to game-changing leadership, Dhoni bhai has left an indelible mark on the sport. His calm demeanour, razor-sharp instincts & unwavering commitment have inspired millions. A true icon & legend of the game, his legacy will continue to inspire generations of cricketers," Raina wrote on his official social media handle.

The ICC Hall of Fame celebrates the achievements of legendary cricketers who have played a crucial role in the game's history. Players are eligible for induction only five years after their final international appearance.

From leading a young and fearless Indian team to the T20 World Cup 2007 triumph to guiding the national side in clinching the historic ODI World Cup in 2011, Dhoni's cabinet is filled with elusive trophies. During his captaincy stint, the 'Men in Blue' also won the Champions Trophy in 2013.

His leadership calmed the chaos, turning pressure into opportunity and dreams into triumphs.

Apart from his captaincy style, Dhoni established himself as one of the greatest finishers in the game's history. Behind the stumps, Dhoni was a phenomenon. His lightning-fast stumpings and razor-sharp anticipation revolutionised wicketkeeping in limited-overs cricket. Overall, he boasts 17,266 international runs, 829 dismissals and 538 matches across formats for India. Dhoni's numbers reflect not just excellence but extraordinary consistency, fitness and longevity.
