Can you believe Sachin Tendulkar once had to walk with his kit bag and luggage from Dadar station to Shivaji Park as he had no money in his pocket.

&ldquo;I was only 12 when I was selected to play for the Mumbai under-15 team. I was excited, carried some money and we went to Poona (now Pune) to play three matches. It started raining there, so I was hoping that the rain stopped and we get some cricket to play. So, when I got my chance, I was run out for four. Being only 12, I could barely run at a decent pace. I was disappointed and came back to dressing room crying and after that I did not get another chance to bat,&rdquo; said Tendulkar at the launch of Digibank (mobile-only bank) in the city yesterday.
'I spent every penny' &ldquo;Because it had rained, we had nothing to do the whole day. We went out to watch a movie, ate and without knowing how to save money, I spent everything. When I came back to Mumbai by train, there was not a penny in my pocket. I was carrying two big bags. We got off at Dadar station and from there I had to walk to Shivaji Park as I had no money,&rdquo; Tendulkar recalled.
&ldquo;If I had a phone in my hand, one SMS and my parents would have transferred money to my account and I could have travelled by cab.&rdquo;
Though Tendulkar harped on the positives of technology, he was the first man to bear its consequences on the cricket field.&nbsp; &ldquo;When it comes to technology, yours truly was the first one to be given run out by the third umpire in 1992. Not every time technology can go your way. While fielding, you hope the third umpire makes the right decision, but not while batting,&rdquo; he added.
