Former Indian women’s team off-spinner and ex-Mumbai selector Arundhati Ghosh is gearing up for a fresh start after being appointed by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) as the Women’s Tournament Coordinator on Wednesday.
Ghosh, who represented the country in eight Tests and 11 ODIs between 1984 and 1986, will oversee the planning and conduct of all Mumbai women’s tournaments, leagues, selection trials, camps and developmental initiatives. Ghosh plans to focus on the grassroot level.
