&ldquo;A lot of people turned up for Pakistan match in Delhi too. It was a good experience to play in such a crowded stadium,&rdquo; India skipper Mithali Raj said. The crowd really got behind the Indian women&rsquo;s team with chants of &lsquo;India jeetega&rsquo; when they needed 10 off the final over to surpass West Indies&rsquo; 114-8. &ldquo;When we are in the ground, we are completely zoned out, but the girls would have enjoyed that atmosphere,&rdquo; Mithali said after the Indian eves were knocked out of the tournament.

The Indian women&rsquo;s team waited in the PCA restaurant area before they could pack their stuff and leave for the hotel. West Indies, meanwhile, had packed their bags in the innings break and were the first to leave the stadium.
